ELLCI is an Italian school for foreigners with 30 years of experience. We are located in the heart of Milan, a few steps from Corso Buenos Aires, one of the most important shopping streets in the city. ELLCI is also home to the CELI exam, (Certificate of Knowledge of the Italian Language) of the University for Foreigners of Perugia. It has several course offers, intensive (morning or afternoon), evening courses and individual courses. Furthermore, since March, online courses, group and individual, have been active, which have helped us in the period of serious health emergency and continue to expand our student base, allowing anyone in the world to reach us from their home and follow our online lessons quickly and easily. Our teachers are all native speakers, experienced and highly qualified.

For those enrolling in intensive courses, ELLCI also offers the opportunity to participate in free excursions in Milan and its surroundings to practice the Italian language in a friendly and informal atmosphere. An expert guide leads our students to discover the beauties of our area. During the health emergency period, our trips were all online!

Since September 14th we have been back at school, not without first having drawn up a safety protocol to minimize the hygienic-sanitary risks of infection of the SARS-CoV-2. At the school entrance, an automatic device measures body temperature. Upon access, it is also mandatory to sanitize hands and it is recommended to do it constantly.

Our spaces have been adapted to allow safe distancing between people and the number of students per class has been reduced. Where it is not possible to maintain the safety distance, it is mandatory to wear a mask. The teachers are equipped with a plexiglass visor. Physical contact is forbidden and our teachers are prepared to ensure the proper conduct of the lessons without precluding group activities. Doors and windows, when possible, are kept open also during the lessons to allow a better ventilation. In any case, the room is aired at every change of the hour.

It is also forbidden to change seats or exchange personal items.

In addition to daily cleaning, ELLCI is subjected to frequent antiviral sanitation, carried out by a specialized company.

On each wall of the school there are posters indicating all the preventive measures to be followed. Disinfectant gels are placed in several places in the school.

ELLCI is prepared to better face the new ways of using the lessons, online and at our institute. Our students and staff feel safe and we do our best to keep studying Italian with joy and passion. The course programs are always adapted to the needs of the individual and of the class, to learn how to communicate without fear!
